For those of you who are unfamiliar with this aforementioned movement, I would encourage you to check out this recent Southern Baptist Convention Resolution.

Southern Baptists across the nation are answering the call by pulling their precious children from the dysfunctional public school system. As test scores plummet and attitudes towards traditional Christian values grow increasingly hostile, Southern Baptist families are refusing to rely on the government to provide their children with education. Rather, many have chosen to homeschool their children.

Although you’ve undoubtedly noticed that this blog is titled “The Southern Baptist Academy Blog,” I want to encourage those who are not enrolled in our school to check back occasionally to keep updated on important news. You don’t have to be a Southern Baptist to find this information useful either.
